Well, we really caught Amy by surprise. The Tiki hut was decorated with lots of balloons, there was plenty of food, and a Tiki Hut full of members waiting for Amy to arrive. When she walked in the door and we all yelled "Surprise" and "Happy Birthday" I thought Amy was going to collapse at the door. Then, we all sang Happy Birthday to Amy. There was a special seat at the bar for Amy with ballons tied to the bar stool. Officers and members tended the bar for Amy's shift so that she could enjoy the evening. Members were generous in contributing to Amy's Birthday Tip jar that was setup on the bar. I know we showed Amy just how much we appreciate her. And I think we made this a birthday that she will not soon forget. Thanks to all who worked to make this a special occasion for Amy.
